Jerry Crasnick predicting Toronto as a bigger threat than the Red Sox

Am I missing something? I admit the Red Sox still haven't put together the whole picture this offseason and their front office has been in disarray. I will also admit Toronto has improved their pitching by picking up Burnett. But this will more likely mean the wild card won't come out of the East, but first place still belongs to either the Yankees or the Red Sox.

Big Picture: You can question the wisdom of Ricciardi's offseason maneuvers, but the Blue Jays should be a fun team to watch in 2006. With the acquisition of Glaus, Lyle Overbay, A.J. Burnett and B.J. Ryan, they might have moved ahead of the relatively stagnant Red Sox as the biggest threat to New York in the AL East.
