Graffanino accepts arbitration, Seanez comes back to Boston

Tony Graffanino accepted salary arbitration from the Red Sox before Monday night's deadline, meaning the infielder will return to Boston next season. Not surprisingly, Johnny Damon refused. But the Red Sox will continue to pursue JD, although he is not expected to sign anywhere soon.

In other news, 37 year-old Rudy Seanez resigned with the Red Sox. He last pitched for the Sox in 2003 when he went 0-1 with a 6.23 ERA in nine appearances. Last year for the San Diego Padres, Rudy set career highs in wins, appearances, innings and K's with a 2.69 ERA. He signed for one year, with a club option for next year.
