Pats sign Tucker to patch O-line

New England Patriots have signed Tucker to support the 'thin' left tackle position. With Matt Light still out and Nick Kaczur injured shoulder, they needed someone else to cover the spot. This was bad news for Mike Cloud as once again, he was cut from the roster. Of course, since Cloud was resigned in the same week last time, you can't count him out just yet.

BostonHerald.com - N.E. Patriots: Pats sign Tucker to patch O-line:

Regular starter Matt Light, who has missed 10 games since leaving a Week 3 win in Pittsburgh with a broken leg, underwent an additional procedure two weeks ago. His replacement, rookie Nick Kaczur, sat out last week’s game with a shoulder injury.
Tucker was a free agent since his release by Buffalo on the final preseason cut Sept. 4. Washington signed him as an undrafted free agent before the 2001 season and he also played for Dallas in 2002 before joining the Bills.

To make room for Tucker, the Patriots released running back Michael Cloud for the second time this year.
